Shep Messing Honored at the America SCORES National Poetry SLAM!

Shep Messing was the Guest of Honor at the 7th annual America SCORES National Poetry SLAM! hosted at the New York Stock Exchange on April 9, 2013. “America SCORES has both opened my eyes and inspired me in terms of how soccer can be used to reach the country’s youth,” Shep Messing said. “It is the most innovative way I have seen soccer help foster education, literacy, creativity and social responsibility in urban cities across the country. I will continue to support America SCORES programs and encourage you to support them as well.”

Fort Lauderdale Strikers 1-1 FC Edmonton The Fort Lauderdale Strikers came back from a goal down to draw with FC Edmonton in front of 5,201 fans at Lockhart Stadium.
