The New York Cosmos would like to congratulate the players and staff of the New York Cosmos Academy U-15 team for winning the 2011-2012 Northeast Pre-Academy League Championships. In the final match, the New York Cosmos Academy beat New York Red Bulls 3-1 to earn the U-15 championship. The win was a rematch of the 2011 U-14 finals, won by the Red Bulls.

The Cosmos Academy U-15 team will now advance to the NPL Champions Cup held on July July 27-31 at Wakugen Sports Park in Wakugen, IL.

The Cosmos would like to extend a special congratulations to head coach Didier Orellana and his assistant, Nick Maurello, for their outstanding work this season.
