Second chances don’t come around very often. Second chances to become a professional athlete are even more rare. In Ansger Otto’s case, he earned a special second chance in pursuit of becoming a professional soccer player. The recent Iona College graduate was selected to attend the Cosmos Combine in February, but forced to miss out after due to an injury. That didn’t keep the 23-year-old from giving up his dream though.

In 1976, Pelé scored one of the most famous goals in Cosmos history with this bicycle kick against the Miami Toros.
