Founded in 2009 in New York City, Cosmos Copa is one of the most prominent amateur adult soccer tournaments in the United States. Cosmos Copa is comprised of sixteen community based "national teams" whose players proudly play for the heritage and culture they represent. They compete for the esteemed title of New York City Champion and the honor of hoisting the Cosmos Cup.

Cosmos Copa kicks off for 2012 with the Group Stages on Saturday, July 14th at Pier 40 at 6:00PM, on Manhattan's West side. On Sunday, July 15th, the Group Stages conclude on Randall's Island. 

The following weekend, Cosmos Copa is at Octagon Field on Roosevelt Island for the Quarterfinals on Saturday, July 21st. The next day sees the Semifinals played at Flushing Meadows Park in Queens. 

The final of Cosmos Copa will be held at scenic Macomb's Dam Park in the Bronx, right across the street from Yankee Stadium on Saturday July 28th.
