COSMOS COPA: The World’s Sport in the World’s City
Founded in 2009, Cosmos Copa is New York City’s preeminent amateur adult soccer tournament. Situated in one of the world’s great cosmopolitan meccas, Cosmos Copa was created to bring New Yorkers together to enjoy the city’s rich cultural diversity through the beautiful game of soccer.
The annual soccer tournament is comprised of community-based “national teams” whose players proudly play for the heritage and cultures they represent. Please come out and watch as each team battles with pride and passion for the chance to hoist the trophy and be declared Cosmos Copa’s “City Champion"..
