Cosmos Academy Overview & Philosophy

The New York Cosmos Academy’s main objective is to inspire and develop world-class U.S. soccer talent for The New York Cosmos professional team. Specifically, the Academy focuses on developing excellence in individual and team performance through a consistent and comprehensive development program. The Academy provides players with professional-level training, optimal playing environments, and nurturing the skills necessary to play soccer at its highest level.

The Cosmos Academy will strive to develop well-rounded soccer players by enhancing the importance of technical excellence, tactical awareness, speed of thought and decision-making, while providing an enjoyable and inspiring atmosphere.
