Aviator Sports Complex:
Aviator Sports and Events is located in Brooklyn, NY on 3159 Flatbush Avenue, just south of Belt Parkway (Exit 11S, Brooklyn, NY 11234).

Public Transportation
- Take the 2 or 5 train to the Flatbush Avenue/Brooklyn College station (last stop)
- Take the Q35 bus one block from the train station--Flatbush Ave. between Nostrand Avenue and Avenue H
- Request the bus to stop across from Aviator Sports and Recreation at Floyd Bennett Field
- Walk across the road, enter the open gate by the Ryan Visitor Center
- The Aviator Sports complex is in the hangars to the left of the Ryan Visitor Center
- Walk around the Ryan Visitor Center toward the Aviator Sports complex
Note: The 5 train only operates Monday--Friday during rush hours. The 2 train operates all hours.
Via Other Subways
Take the R to the Court Street station in Brooklyn and transfer to the 2 or 5
Take the N or Q to the Atlantic Avenue station in Brooklyn and transfer to the 2 or 5
Take the B or D to the Atlantic Avenue station in Brooklyn and transfer to the 2 or 5
Then follow the above directions from the 2 or 5 train
By Car
From Lower Manhattan or BQE/278:
- Take the Battery Tunnel--exit 2--toward 278/Brooklyn (Westbound)
- Left hand merge onto the Belt Parkway (East)
- Take Exit 11 Southern Belt Parkway--Flatbush Ave South--towards Rockaways
- Go South on Flatbush Avenue for 2 lights.
- At the second light you will see a sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center, make a left at that light into the Aviator parking lot.
From East Side:
- Take the Queens Midtown Tunnel
- Merge onto 495E
- Take to Woodhaven Blvd Exit 19 towards Rockaway
- Woodhaven Blvd becomes Cross Bay Blvd
- Take Belt Parkway W towards Verrazano Bridge
- Take to exit 11S Flatbush Avenue South
- Go south on Flatbush for 2 lights
- At 2nd light see sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center and make left into Aviator parking lot
From Upper East Side:
- Take East 125th St/Martin Luther King Jr Blvd or the FDR Drive to the Triborough Bridge
- Cross Triborough Bridge to Queens (278 West)
- 278 West becomes the Grand Central Expressway
- Take the Jackie Robinson Pkwy/Van Wyck Expwy--Exit 13 (toward Kennedy Airport)
- Take Exit 1W off the Van Wyck Expressway toward Verrazano Bridge/Belt Parkway West
- Turn slight right onto N Conduit Ave
- Merge onto Belt Pkwy towards Verrazano Bridge
- Take Exit 11 Southern Belt Parkway--Flatbush Ave. South—towards Rockaways
- Go South on Flatbush Avenue for 2 lights.
- At the second light you will see a sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center, make a left at that light into the Aviator parking lot.
From Brooklyn:
- Take Flatbush Avenue south (towards Kings Plaza and the Rockaways)
- Continue on Flatbush Avenue past the Belt Parkway entrance
- Go South on Flatbush Avenue for 2 lights.
- At the second light you will see a sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center, make a left at that light into the Aviator parking lot.
From Northern Long Island:
- Take Long Island Expwy--495--toward New York
- Take the Cross IS Pkwy--Exit 31 N-S--toward Whitestone Bridge/Kennedy
- Take the Cross IS Pkwy South—on the left toward Kennedy
- Stay straight to go onto Belt Pkwy/Cross IS Pkwy S
- Take Exit 11S off the Belt Parkway--Flatbush Ave South—towards Rockaways
- Go South on Flatbush Avenue for 2 lights.
- At the second light you will see a sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center, make a left at that light into the Aviator parking lot.
From Southern Long Island:
- Take the Southern State Pkwy West, until it becomes the Belt Parkway
- Take Exit 11S off the Belt Parkway--FlatbushAve.South—towards Rockaways
- Go South on Flatbush Avenue for 2 lights.
- At the second light you will see a sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center, make a left at that light into the Aviator parking lot.
From Queens:
- Take the Van Wyck Expwy/678 South--towards Kennedy Airport
- Take Exit 1W toward Verrazano Bridge/Belt Parkway West
- Turn slight right onto N Conduit Ave
- Merge onto Belt Pkwy towards Verrazano Bridge
- Take Exit 11S off the Belt Parkway--Flatbush Ave South--towards Rockaways
- Go South on Flatbush Avenue for 2 lights.
- At the second light you will see a sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center, make a left at that light into the Aviator parking lot.
From Northwest Queens:
- Take the Grand Central Parkway to Exit 13 Van Wyck Expressway- Kennedy Airport.
- Take the Van Wyck to Exit 1W Belt Parkway Brooklyn-Verrazano Bridge.
- Take Belt Parkway to Exit 11S Flatbush Avenue.
- Take Flatbush Avenue south for 2 lights. At 2nd light make left into Aviator parking lot.
From Staten Island:
- Take 278 East toward Verrazano Bridge
- Keep right at the fork to go on 278 East—toward Verrazano Narrows Bridge
- Merge left onto Belt Pkwy East
- Take Exit 11S off the Belt Parkway—Flatbush Ave South—towards Rockaways
- Go South on Flatbush Avenue for 2 lights.
- At the second light you will see a sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center, make a left at that light into the Aviator parking lot.
From Westchester
- Take I95 South
- Take the Hutchinson Pkwy South--Exit 14--towards Whitestone Bridge
- Merge onto Hutchinson River Parkway S
- Hutchinson River Parkway becomes 678
- Take Exit 1W toward Verrazano Bridge/Belt Parkway West
- Turn slight right onto N Conduit Ave
- Merge onto Belt Pkwy towards Verrazano Bridge
- Take Exit 11S off the Belt Parkway—Flatbush Ave South—towards Rockaways
- Go South on Flatbush Avenue for 2 lights.
- At the second light you will see a sign for Aviator Sports and Events Center, make a left at that light into the Aviator parking lot.
Randall's Island Directions:
SUBWAY/BUS
- The M35 bus runs to the Island from the NW corner of 125th Street and Lexington Ave. Transfer is available from the Lexington Avenue 4, 5, or 6 trains at 125th Street. For updated MTA travel information, (718) 330-1234 or www.mta.info.
PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE
- The 103rd Street Pedestrian Footbridge connects the southern end of Randall’s Island to Manhattan, linking to the East River esplanade and across the FDR to 103rd Street in East Harlem.
- Hours of Operation Dates: Times: 03/21–04/30 6am–7pm 05/01–09/30 6am–9pm 10/01–11/30 6am–7pm
- The Footbridge is closed by NYC DOT from 11/21-3/20. Pedestrian Ramps connect the Park to all three spans of the RFK Bridge.
- Manhattan: 125th Street and 2nd Avenue to just behind the Golf Center • Bronx: Cypress Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard to the Bronx Shore Fields • Queens: Hoyt Avenue and 28th Street, adjacent to the Astoria Boulevard
- N/W station, to mid-Island, adjacent to the Central Fields.
AUTOMOBILE
- All automobile access is via the RFK Bridge.
- From Manhattan
- If paying with E-ZPass at toll: Stay left at toll plaza for the exit ramp to Randall’s Island, immediately after the toll plaza.
- If paying cash at toll: Stay right for the exit to Randall’s Island, about a half-mile past toll plaza.
- From Queens
- Stay right for the exit to Randall’s Island, immediately after the toll plaza.
- From the Bronx
- Once on the Bridge continue toward Queens. After the Queens toll plaza, bear right for the Randall’s Island exit (about 200 yards).
GETTING TO SOUTH FIELDS
Wards Meadow Fields (70-75) Location: Randall’s Island Park south, along East River Access
- Bicycle/Pedestrian: 103rd Street Footbridge, RFK Bridge Queens Pedestrian Ramp and Bicycle and Pedestrian Pathways
- Automobile: Parking areas via Wards Meadow Loop
East River Fields (80-85) Location: Randall’s Island Park south, along East River Access
- Bicycle/Pedestrian: 103rd Street Footbridge, RFK Bridge Queens Pedestrian Ramp and Bicycle and Pedestrian Pathways
- Automobile: Parking areas via East River Lane
Sunken Garden Fields (90-92) Location: Randall’s Island Park south, west of RFK Bridge Access
- Bicycle/Pedestrian: 103rd Street Footbridge, RFK Bridge Queens Pedestrian Ramp and Bicycle and Pedestrian Pathways
- Automobile: Parking areas via Sunken Garden Loop • Bus: M35 Bus to Sunken Garden stop
